What could be better than remembering the songs you listened to while driving your now classic American car. Remember Little Deuce Coupe, Hot Rod Lincoln, Fun Fun Fun, I Get Around, Shut Down, Dead Man’s Curve, The Little Old Lady From Pasadena, Little GTO, 409, and many others? What was your favorite? Perhaps you listened while cruising in your Model T or A, Packard, LaSalle, pre-war Chevy or Ford, a 50s hot rod, a Tri-Five Chevy, a 1st generation Mustang, a Midyear Corvette, a GTO, a 442, a Buick Grand National or even something a bit newer. The American love for music and cars continues to this day. Maybe a car just like the one you drove will be included in this year’s Morgan Hill Freedom Fest Car Cruise ‘n Show on the 4th of July. Come early and watch the Car Cruise kick off the parade then come over to the Community and Cultural Center parking lot to review the cars up close at the Car Show. Hopefully these cars will bring back memories of your “cruiser”.
